Water Island is home to many cool creatures. The Red Footed Tortoise can be seen in many areas of nature as you drive around in the golf cart. Please be very careful as the younger tortoises are quite small and sometimes may be mistaken for a rock. These Creatures come out to drink water from the road whenever it rains, so be careful as always as you drive. -
Explore Fort Segarra
Fort Segarra is a WWII Fort built by the American Army but never completed as the war ended before the guns could be installed. The views from the top of Pill box are amazing and the tunnels below are spooky and exciting- however use EXTREME caution if you venture inside. These tunnels are unmaintained, dark and have holes in the floor.
