What to Do on Water Island

Discover the hidden gem of the U.S. Virgin Islands

Start by Renting a Golf Cart at Rachael's Rentals

Welcome to Water Island, a beautiful residential paradise with a strong sense of community pride. Our pristine roadsides and beaches are maintained by dedicated volunteers who pick up litter daily, so please help us keep the island clean by disposing of all trash properly.

Water Island has no fire or medical services provided by the government. Since 2003, the volunteer-run Water Island Search and Rescue (WISAR) has been caring for both visitors and residents in emergency situations. You can support WISAR by purchasing a t-shirt or making a donation. These items are available at our office—just ask!

To reach Water Island, take the Water Island Ferry from Crown Bay Marina by LaMarina Restaurant on St. Thomas. Ferries depart every hour on the hour. Check the schedule at waterislandferry.com
